EO Charger, Slapton, Devon

We had an enquiry regarding the installation of an EV charge point near Slapton in Devon. The customer wanted the charger to be installed inside of his garage. Unfortunately the garage was around 40mtrs from the house with no internet and mobile signal was non existant. Due to them having adequate power to the garage we decided we would install a 'dead' charger as he only wanted the plug and play functions of the charger. After abit of research we recommended the EO mini pro 2 as it's a reliable brand at a great price. The charger has built in 6mA DC protection but no PEN fault protection so we installed a Garo PME consumer unit. We then cleated 6mm Hi tuff cable high level and dropped it into the charger. I would have liked to have brought the cable into the top of the charger but the charger only allows it into the bottom. Local DNO was notified and test certification given to the customer.
