Solar PV installer in Stoke Gabriel near Paignton

This solar PV and battery storage installation was installed by our installers in Stoke Gabriel near Paignton and Torbay.  

The customer was having a barn conversion done at the bottom of their garden. This meant we had to run a new SWA cable buried from the house down to the barn, we also had to run data cables for the internet and CT clamp. Because the roof was new and hadn't been slated yet the customer asked for an in roof system so that the panels fitted more flush with the roof.  

We used GSE inroof system for this and laid the panels portrait from the center of the roof.  

The deisgn for the roof was 14 Jinko 430W solar panels in all black finish.  

We also used Tigo optimisers on all 14 of the panels to help deal with some shading issues and so that the customer could monitor each panel. 

The batteries we fitted were two Sunsynk 5.32kWh so 10.64kWh of storage and this was DC coupled with a 5kW hybrid Sunsynk inverter.

Part P / Building control notification 

MCS certificate  

5 year insurance backed guarantee and Workmanship warranty  

25 years parts warranty on panels  

10 years parts warranty on inverter and battery. 

G99 notification. 

 

This installation was priced at around £11500.
