Tesla Chudleigh

We got a call from a customer asking to install a charge point that came with their Tesla car. Tesla provided them with one of their own chargers when they purchased the car. After finding out where they would like the charger we then plotted the route from the incoming supply. We decided to install a separate consumer unit as the charger lacked certain protection including PEN fault protection and a type A RCD. The cabling we used was 6mm Hi tuff clipped direct. We managed to clip it under the bell bead so it wasn't too visible and then wired the installation up.  

Local DNO was notified and certification provided.
